Upubuntu makes a better job with a PPA, to add Nokuntu just:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/mobile
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install obextool nokuntusp
Features

- Funcions: autoconfiguration, media file manager, Syncronization with Evolution, send SMS from Nokuntu, send files to your cellphone from Nautilus, Wireless bluetooth webcam, bluetooth PC internet sharer (use the internet connection of your PC over bluetooth to navigate in your phone!), cached maps creator
- As you can probably note this suites just integrate some features you can do in other ways. Fell free to use this ideas separatelly from nokuntu

1)Felicitaciones por el proyecto,2)Ahora: después de mucho navegar he notado que éste soft no funciona correctamente sino con veersiones especìficas de Ubuntu u otros. En particular te envìo un enlace: www.chimerarevo.com/nokuntu-il-nokia-pc-suite-per-dispositivi-nokia-su-ubuntu/ Installare Nokuntu in Ubuntu [NOTA BENE] Al momento Nokuntu potrebbe non supportare gli utlimi dispositivi nokia in quanto è previsto il rilascio di un ulteriore aggiornamento. Il PPA è compatibile con Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot e Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin. Prima di installare il programma, è necessario installare il protocollo OBEX denominato Obextool, attraverso il seguente comando: sudo apt-get install obextool Successivamente, dobbiamo aggiungere il seguente ppa: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/mobile Effettuare un aggiornamento dei pacchetti: sudo apt-get update Ed infine andiamo ad installare il nostro programma con il seguente comando: sudo apt-get install nokuntusp Ecco fatto, ora potremmo gustarci il nostro dispositivo Nokia su Ubuntu, de un sitio en italiano realizado por un ingeniero quién efectuò varias pruebas. Indica cuàles son las versiones compatibles de Ubuntu donde Nokuntu trabaja sin problemas. El problema de compatibilidad se debe a los paquetes de programas accesorios necesarios para que funcione sin problemas. 3) Mi caso: quisiera instalar Nokuntu en una tarjeta SD con Knoppix 6.4 (el mejor software que he probado liveCD), serìa muy ùtil ya que poseo un solo pc, para luego eliminar Windows XP del pc e instalar definitivamente Ubuntu con Nokuntu en cualquiera de sus versiones sin arriesgar un cambio importante sin saber si es posible conservar y exportar los datos hacia alguna aplicaciòn disponible en Ubuntu. El ùnico impedimento como bien sàbes es Nokia Suite y la consiguiente sincro de los datos con programas libres. 4) Falta una guìa clara. Knoppix 6.4 es una distribuciòn Debian pero por algùn motivo no se pueden instalar obextools, ppa, etc. 5) Gracias de todos modos y gracias por la respuesta.

when i am installing in my ubuntu 12.04 LTS, it says an error "dpkg: error processing /home/rafeeq/Documents/softwares/nokuntusp_0.6-1_all.deb (--install): unable to open file '/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci//usr': Is a directory"
